First off, this is just my opinion you don't have to agree.

I think that the Guitar Hero series of games ( In particular GH3) kills alot of songs. Once a song is on GH everyone instatnly loves that band , ie; Dragonforce. This annoys mudkips, Because then all everyone will talk about is that band and that ONE song on GH.

Please post your thoughts on this, I just hope I am not the only one who feels this way.

Who cares. Music is music, and GH just serves to promote certain types of music people may not be used to hearing. I'm know guys not big on rock culture, so Eric Johnson, The Killers, Tenacious D, Rise Against, etc. would have been lost on them. Music is not some big secret fan club. People have to find their way into new sounds and genres.

my 8 yearold niece plays guitar hero all the timeand know ultimately perfers to hear the fall of troy , cheap trick or the scorpions to any of the mainstream crap on most of the radio stations today

I am not saying that people should not listen to these bands or that only a few should listen to them. I am saying these retardeds anoy me when all they can talk about is ONE song from that band.

It annoys me when retards complain about videogames and relatively minor social issues.

And, on a different note. Playing guitar, and then a song on guitar hero (One that you can play) is really fucking hard.

Whatever gets the masses to learn about better music is fine by me. The only thing I have a problem with is the song choice. On GH3, for example, an In Flames song was chosen off the worst album they made. WHY!?! I really wonder if that staff comes up with the tracklist themselves or actually asks around.
