dont even bother with the "IT WILL BE LIKE 6 DISCS" crap, because id rather have to change the disc (takes about 20 seconds) than install a portion of the game every 2 hours *looks at MGS4* (takes about 10 minutes)

It's funny how Sony's plan to make the PS3 the king of the consoles has failed, horribly. Developers are jumping on the 360 like crazy. Still I kind of feel bad, I loved the PS2 and PSP (hacking firmware/piracy FTW).

I love how I can choose to install games entirely to my 360's HDD now (well, in Fall, but you get the idea). You still have the disc in to play, but that about cuts the loading times in half lawl

Its not, you know, a mandatory thing, like you see in PS3 games, which have to install because the Blu-ray drive is barely over half as fast as the 360's DVD drive, meaning the Blu-ray drive can't actually keep up with the amount of data being streamed into the games.

Time to craigslist my week-and-a-half-old PS3. Should've waited until after E3 to look into one.

i just got done watching day 2 of E3 i cant believe how much Sony seems to b improving there game against Nintendo and Microsofts 360 but with all the hip that Sonys getting theres still the 360's chance to keep Sony at the level itz at now.

80GB PS3 is going to be $400,

They finally started stepping their game up a little too late. Nintendo and Microsoft both owned Sony this generation of consoles. The Wii already has classic games, and Microsoft is quickly taking Sony's exclusives every chance they get. Sony did a much better job last gen by keeping games like GTA on lock for their initial releases (MS had to wait to get the Xbox GTA ports). I mean it's sad going from the PS2's all-star lineup of games to what the PS3 has now.

well yah thatz true and yes PS3 has been a little lacking so far but with the games that Sony has instore may save them from being left in the dark in the gameing world, but then again u do have a point Wii has already got classic games along with Nintendo and Microsoft hasn't even had itz turn to share what it has in store this year.

I dont think MS has come up with anything original yet, see there "new" interface? i swear they just copied nintendo. And of course MS bought final fantasy 13 because fable 2 has the same graphics as a ps2 game, and fable is shit anyway.

Microsoft seems to be coming out on top lately but with this new year who knows Sony make actually make a decent attempt at coming back im not even bothering with Nintendo or the Wii they haven't caught my eye with anything ground breaking

That's because Nintendo wasted all their creativity on the Wii itself and it's pathetic excuses for peripherals. The only thing that kept the Wii afloat for its launch months was Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Galaxy. Once those were released it lost any and all respect and attention it once had. The only thing that could have saved the Wii for this year was Nintendo announcing yet another major Franchise Title to be released within the next month or two. Its the only way the Wii will survive. Franchise after Franchise.
