Anyway... I was devastated about the corporate decision Microsoft chose to make by leaving Bungie out. Bungie Studios (maker of the Halo series) was supposed to make a huge announcement about their upcoming project, but their publisher had other plans.

This was a great E3 for anyone who owns a 360.

EDIT: Gears 2 is going to be unbelievable. That is the one thing I am looking forward to.

360 is the console of now, But the PS3 will be the best console in a year or two.

Why you may ask?

becuase the PS3 hasnt reached its limits yet, its not eve close. the 360 is already closing in on its limits.I think it will be streaching its limits with FF13 if they keep the same graphics as the one on PS3

Thats what is said every year, and the 360 still ends up destroying it.

Nobody realizes that, hardware-wise, the only thing PS3 has over 360 is the Blu-ray format; other than that, the CPU, GPU, RAM, everything else basically, inside the 360 is far better suited for gaming (and ironically far better suited for HD gaming as well) than the PS3's components. The best example is GTA4. The PS3 version is a severe downgrade; the 360 versions runs at native 720p, the PS3 version has to run at 640p, with textures at about 70% of the sharpness of the 360 version, and an inferior frame rate to boot. You could put all the crap you want on the Blu-ray discs (Hideo Kojima: "Ooh look I put so much on the Blu-ray discs, and it turns out I just didnt bother to compress the audio which makes no difference on most home audio systems"); the only problem is that the PS3's Blu-ray drive is almost half as slow as the 360's DVD drive,and that the PS3 as a whole just isn't as efficient or powerful

Speaking of HD gaming, how is my PS3 the true HD console when it can't upscale my games to 1080p or doesnt come with any HD cables? When the 360 is the one that upscales all games to 1080p without a problem, and comes with both component and HDMI?

HaHa, i see i am over run by 360 fanboys so i probly should just quit now.The more you guys speak the dumber i get,in most cases. And any game that comes out on a PC from a console is usally better then the console version so it doesnt matter me. I preffer PC gaming

I prefer PC gaming too, lets look at all these hot new PC games... oh... yeah. Age of Conan, Sins of a Solar Empire Double, and uh... oh. All out of games, lets wait 6 more months for the next wave of two good games. (Cant wait for Spore and Dawn of War 2 though)

Even if PS3 ends up "surpassing" the 360 in power, it still has a very sparse library. God of War 3, Little Big Planet, and... everything else worth playing, I can get on 360, and the 360 version will be 95% sure to have better performance and more features, as the past 3 years have shown.

There will be no PS4 at this rate. Sony went in with a sense of entitlement and that they wouldnt have to please the third parties, and that their first party would rock (over half of the original IPs released by Sony 1st/2nd parties for the PS3 have flopped in both sales and reviews).

The worst part is that I have all three, and all notable games for all three. Not even MGS4 salvages the PS3; at least SSBB makes the Wii worth keeping around for parties.

there is no chance of PS3 ever surpassing the 360, Sony is so far behind it has no hope of ever catching up let alone taking the lead in the console race and Sony didn't even have anything decent to bring to the table other than there suposed faster and better hardware

And now Xbox Live will have tens of thousands more movies than PSN. I have a Netflix subscription, I might check this out (though I only have that Netflix so I can get Blu-ray movies for my PS3)

Try again, retard, the PS3 and Wii have good points but youre a fucking little child if you cant see that the 360 is the most well-rounded GAMING system of the three, much less admit that its a good system on its own merits. You know Microsoft is doing something right when my DVD rack has about 25 360 games, none of which I would consider crap because I wouldnt buy them otherwise, 4 PS3 games, and 5 Wii games. And I really have nothing to spend my money on but phone/internet bills, clothes, snacks, and games, so I make sure I get every game that is supposed to be half decent.

Maybe one day you will be able to grow out of this idiot state where you grow affection for one console because its the only one mommy and daddy would get for you, and learn to appreciate and see the weaknesses of all systems through real first hand experience.
