Here's all the information I've got on it.

This will be an amazing game. This is the only reason I'm getting a DS.

Its not a remake. Its not a sequel/prequel/requel. Its just simply going to be remastered for the Nintendo DS. Meaning its somewhat of a "port" with updated graphics, controls and possibly enhanced depth. Meaning longer gameplay and more possibly storyline endings.
