 ARG Community Tournaments Welcome everyone! Tsuri here. As far as I know, this idea hasn't been suggested yet so I'll be the first to start. I will be hosting a series of casual online game matches/tournaments within the ARG community. These matches will be held across a variety of games. All members of any gaming skill level are eligible & encouraged to join. These matches will be completely for fun and will serve as yet another way for the ARG community to become closer. Now that I'm done with introductions, I'll head straight into the Q&A. How do I register? - Simple. Just post here stating that you'd like to join. What if my computer is not good enough? - No worries! I will be choosing games with low enough system requirements, that everyone can play. For the most part every game will be on windows PCs, unless other people show an interest otherwise. I dont feel like paying for all these games! - Again no worries. I will be choosing mainly free online games. Otherwise they will be my own personal rips. However I'll try to stick to free games. Download links will be provided in this post. How will I know when the matches begin? - I'll be keeping this thread updated with the latest info on the current game, and match times. Also, all registered players will be notified through private message a few days before the match date. Note that the dates are not set in stone. How do I know which server to join? - I will try to the best of my ability to host our own server. The server will most likely be password protected, but the password will be posted here. In any other case we will just join any other random server. Current Game What is Warsow? Match Date/Time: 7/6/08 7:00 PM Eastern Time - Warsow is a fast paced first person shooter, that is very similar to the Quake series. In this game you must rely on quick reflexes and accuracy to defeat your opponent with a variety of weapons. This game has very low system requirements so anybody should be able to easily play this. This game is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh PCs. Screenshots:   Match types: All Match types will be played on the server, excluding race mode which requires special maps. For the most part the default maps will be used. Team size and match length will be discussed at a further time.
