I played against my brother using Snake, I completely dominated. I don't know what it was. But everytime I put a mine in the ground he never saw it and ran into it every single time. >_<

It was hilarious. But then again he was using whats his face... uhh Olimar... he sucks using anyone. >_>

Yes, more Snake players are always good, not only is he the epitome of manliness alongside Captain Falcon, his recovery is just amazing

I was just playing the game today, and I completely murdered my friends in a 4 player match with him. But yeah, it's like I said and like you found out, the mines are a great surprise attack. I never stay on the ground to place them though, I just drop them from the air between people and detonate, or in a place everybody commonly stands. If you're lucky they do attach on the characters, so that's kind of cool too

dude, Pikachu and Marth ftw. But then, I guess I've always preferred quicker characters to obscenely strong ones.

I've liked pikachu back since the original, but then they sorta evened him out a bit (took away all of his super cheap attacks) and so I'm not as good as I used to be, but still my fave char. Roy was my boy in Melee, and so now I use Marth in Brawl because he's basically a fusion of Roy and Marth from Melee.

Roy was fun to play as here and there, but he was just too slow for comfort... I really hate most slow characters. Excluding Ike, and Ganondorf. Snake is slow in some areas, but overall he is relatively quick.

I'm happy they took out Roy, as Ike is a major improvement to the character roster. Speaking of which I was kind of pissed they reused the Landmaster final smash for all the Starfox characters, that was a huge copout. They made Fox, Falco, and Wolf at each at least somewhat unique, but could barely make the Landmasters any different
