Does anyone here have this game. I bought i yesterday and I totally underrated it from the reviews. IMO its better then the 1st. I mean the fighting is more flashy and stylish. I just want to get everyone else's opinions.

I played it. (yes I know I know Why is Jon Bon Jovi playing a Ninja game, why because ninjas kickass thats why) I also thought it was pretty good. I seem to be stuck on the 3 boss but what are you going to do you know. This game is tough and I will never finish it

There are like 4 videogames I'd ever be caught in public playing, and this is one of them.

The story is a joke, and that's saying alot considering how bad the first (well first Xbox) Ninja Gaiden was story/character-wise.

The camera is a little worse because the hallways and corridors are alot narrower for the most part.

The combat is fast fast fast though, definitely an improvement over the first one.

My only major complaint are the bosses. Nowhere near as memorable or well-made as the first one. They are either too easy or too cheap, which is ridiculous. Even Alma in the first one could be beat fairly with some practice. Ninja Gaiden is about getting your ass kicked and eventually getting so good your friends wonder how the fuck you pulled it off. Not fighting some flying fucking worm thing that has like 3 unescapable attacks and you just keep dying and restarting until you get lucky.

I remember playing a little bit of the first at my friend's house. It was the area where you had to run away from the incoming boulder (don't know if it was a tribute to Raiders of the Lost Ark or not) and fight the T-Rex skeleton boss. Badass game, now that I've got a 360 I should probably get the first and then play the second.

I almost want to play the Ninja Gaiden NES games just for the hell of it

The bosses weren't ridiculous in the first one. Hard, yes. But you could practice against them, and be able to beat them eventually without having to try more than once.

The bosses in 2 are just... either too easy or too cheap. It's not a matter of strategy or reflexes, it's a matter of Team Ninja laughing in our faces.

Ninja Gaiden (xbox) is harder then Ninja Gaiden 2 (xbox 360) IMO

Being able to insta kill enemys when you cut off a leg or arm. Helps make the game easier. Most of the bosses are easier so far. (im on chapter 10). But I can only give my final opinion after I beat the game.
