I've downloaded a lot of games, whether they be from torrents, roms, etc.

I see no real harm in doing it, there's still a massive majority who buy games. I mean look at GTAIV....people could have easily just downloaded the rip of the game and play it, but they instead went out and bought it, breaking a lot of records for the industry

The way I see it is I'm a poor man in the world, so why not take the opportunities I'm presented with?

also you're supporting the companies who make them by doing so.
