I didn't care much for 7, graphics bothered me too much. That's why I started with 8.

Interesting question for you:

Since I don't think you actually commented on XII's gameplay/story, I wonder, did you like XII or VII better?

Neither one really holds my interest very long.

VII, for sure. As long as you're going by gameplay and story that is. I don't care for the materia system, I just couldn't get into it for some reason. But it's better then the gambits and licenses. Story is more original also.

I think most people like Vincent because of the mystery, people are drawn to him because they wonder. Of course, then when they released Dirge of Cerberus, most of that flew out the window, but people still like him because what they found out interested them.
