I'm not gay or anything but when I first came here to Australia I did notice that most guys aint done for some reason, and out of my PE class of probably 15 guys only 4 of them were done.

So I wondered why this was the case as I always heard it was done because it was cleaner. But I found out that its not cleaner to be done and that most guys who are done are just done for tradition.

Anyway I was thinking, if I was an alien looking down on earth, I would probably find it really weird that humans have a tradition where they cut the skin off the babies penis. When you really think about it in a logical way, it is kinda weird that we would strap a baby boy down to cut a piece of harmless skin off. If we cut an earlobe off a baby most people would think that was weird, but really its the same thing.

I'm circumsized and don't feel bad about being done as it is what makes me who I am in a way lol.

But knowing all this, would you still have your son circumsized if you ever have a son? Mainly I wanna know what the other guys think, as I mean girls don't have a dick so not to be sexist it shouldn't really concern them.

By the way, when my baby brother was born, like 4 years ago, I saw him being done and he cried all through it. Never saw a baby cry so bad. Must hurt so much.

There's rumors that is protects against AIDS and STD's. That sounds kinda far-fetched, but check up on Wikipedia.

For the most part, I'm neutral. And before anyone throws the Bible at me, the Biblical rite of circumcision, called brit milah (or brith milah or bris milah), entailed the trimming of just the very tip of the foreskin, only that amount that could be pulled down over the tip of the glans. It did not destroy the entire foreskin, it did not affect normal sexual functioning, it was not the brutal rite that baby boys undergo today.
