Not at all. I do it all the time. During sex urine is blocked from entering the genitalia. So after you have been sexually active you should be able to urinate. The only thing you should be worried about is if you can piss in the middle of sex/masturbation.

Oh, I will try to answer the real question then. Personally, it never hurts for me unless I feel like I have to take a piss but instead have sex. Then it stings a little when I do my business afterwards. This is pretty easily solved with the self-control to postpone doing the horizontal nasty (or bumping uglies, take your pick) for the 30 seconds it takes to piss and wash. So I think you are normal.
