About six months or so ago I made a thread informing everyone that I had broken up with my girlfriend. Well since then, I've been trying to get her back. I've tried practically everything, some being conscious decisions, some sub-conscious. I've tried overpowering her with sweetness, tried the hard to get thing. Had her worry about me. Everything. Nothing's worked.

She went out with this other guy for a month. Things seemed to be going okay with them, until he texted her when she was 800 miles away saying they're done. (pansy) She couldn't get a clear reason why out of him. Best thing was, "you're just not what I'm looking for". So she gets over him, and moves on.

Her best friend and her friend's boyfriend break up. She made a fan-fucking-tasmical decision IMO to come dangerously close to going out with her friend's ex. I also add that this second dude is also her ex's (guy that cheated on her) best friend. See the red flags here? Not sure what ended it, but from the sounds of it, they got REALLY close to going out, and the whole thing blew up in their faces. Her friend and the guy got back together, and everything was peachy again.

I get a call from her not too long after that. She sounded really upset. Turns out she found out the reason why her ex broke up with her. Apparently, he cheated on her with this sleazy whore with whom he works with. She continued to talk to him, which baffles me.

So anywho, she's been camping for the past week with her friend and her friend's boyfriend. Oh, AND the guy who cheated on her. I haven't talked to her in a week, and to be honest, I'm starting to think that her and this guy are going to get back together. I don't get it. This is the same guy who cheated on her, then tried to undermine her intelligence by lying to her about it, and yet she's giving him another chance? What in the blue hell?

But here's what's confusing me. Throughout this whole thing, I'VE been the one she calls at night. I'M the guy she texts when she's bored. We STILL say I love you to each other. And yet she keeps making bad decisions like almost dating her friend's ex, and giving this fucko of an ex of hers the ability to get back into her life, rather than getting back together with me? Seriously, what the hell?

No real point to this. Just felt like venting. If you have an opinion, go ahead and post. If you're SN is yoda or spiderpig or whatever it is now, just go click another thread.

I don't know man.

One part of me says that everything will be cool, she still loves you and it's all meant to be. But that's because of two things.

1# I'm a hopeless romantic.

and more importantly

2# You and Shelby are awesome friends, who doesn't like to see two great people together?

But then the realist side of me punches through and says that there's emotional attachment still involved in the situation but it will never be what it once was.

My mind is screaming out "GET OVER IT!!" Yet, this was waaaay too long for me to read all the way through, so I can't really say much.

That's just the thing though. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to make up. The reason we got into a fight last night is because she wanted my opinion on something, I told her the truth, and she took it the wrong way. She ended up just assuming that I was TRYING to hurt her with the comment. I love her to death, and I wouldn't TRY to hurt her. How am I supposed to make up with her and be on good terms when she's just assuming shit like that?

Meh, I sent her mom an e-mail explaining the whole thing, because lord knows she wont. I dunno. Maybe something will happen from that but I don't know. I basically said at the end of the e-mail to her mom, I still feel like we can work, I really do, but we need to do some growing up first.

Oh, and I should say Spear, I'm here for you. If you ever feel like too much of a woman, which you should just by looking at your situation, then don't be afraid to bat for the other team man. My dick will always be here.

Eh, figured I'd let everyone know what's going on.

She called yesterday and we ended up getting into another fight. It ended in me saying to her that I think for right now at least, it'd be a better idea if we weren't in each other's lives, and that we should stop talking to each other. She's pissed and I'm sure I upset her, but I just can't take this shit anymore. I can't stand fighting with her, and she's taking everything I say the wrong way and making WAY too many assumptions.

So yeah. We'll see how shit goes.
