The only difference between sex and making love is the emotions involved. The dynamics or mechanics, no matter how soft, rough, loving or dirty can change that. I agree on emotions taking it even beyond what mere sex can be.

Both Call and shadowsong are right. Sex and making love are the same thing. Just one is a term that makes it less emotional and the other is a term that makes it seem more meaningful. Saying, "I had sex with Katie" and "I made love to Katie" means the same thing. One just sounds like you actually gave a shit while you plowed her for however long you did. The act is all the same, its the connotation that changes.

The two terms technically mean the exact same thing but when people's connotations get in the way and such you can see how things get morphed.....

I dont think they are the same. I think sex is when you fuck some whore(anyone for that matter) cause you can't get any elsewhere. Making love is slow, enjoyable, and makes you feel more connected and inside, literally AND mentally, the person you love. I may not have experience, but its pretty obvious the difference if you think like we do.(people who thinks there is a difference) :-)
