I heard they made a good dark punk album. But their stuff I always hear is complete shit.

Check out their older stuff, they made some nice punk in '95 and '97. You could also check out their early 2000 stuff. The Art Of Drowning still has a lot of aspects of punk in it.

Their darker punk albums are: Answer That And Stay Fashionable, Very Proud Of Ya, Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes, The Art Of Drowning, and Black Sails In The Sunset.

Check out Totalimmortal off the All Hallow's EP, and tell me if that's shit or not.

On their last two albums, and their upcoming ones, they've drifted more for a hardcore rock, and a soft rock sound mixed. I appreciate all their music, old and new, though.

I freaking LOVE AFI. I like there older stuff best, tho i love the new stuff too. Days of the Phoenix is one song I LOVE, plus also Totalimmortal and that's all I can think of right now. I also love Kiss and Control, plus others. But they ROCK. SUCH good artists.
