i dig your taste. um try dog fashion disco, theyre like circus metal haha very funny and awesome, they did a song with serj from system a while back, mushroom cult a deffinate fave!! Also Irate are a worthwhile look up too, pretty unknown but awesome none the less.

I like some obscure music, it annoys me that a lot of my music taste is exactly the same as my friend's, it's good to have something different.

You appear to like mostly metal, and probably like some degree of actual melody, am I correct? I'd suggest The Deftones, Skin Yard, The Fallen Idols (myspace only), and Alice in Chains.

Dream Theater's Train of Thought album is kickass, you should definitely download it or something.

How about Disturbed? They're not too too heavy, in my opinion.
And justakidreally, why didn't you recommend the Arctics? Haha, Arctic Monkeys are great. Give them a shot. Some of their songs sound alike, but not every song is really the same style.

Yeep. Ugh they were in San Francisco last year in September and I didn't know them yet, I discovered them like a week later. So pissed at myself. San Francisco is like 45 minutes from where I live. Gah! I hope they come back when they come out with a new album.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me with the Wombats earlier this year.

The came in March, and I got into them in like April.
But they're coming back in August and I have tickets. (:

I would really like to see Arctic Monkeys though.
