What the hell? I see rock, blues, grunge, and just a few metal bands. Aerosmith? AC/DC? Rush? On a heavy metal list? Wow, this author knows nothing. Black Sabbath is certainly a top 5, but number 1? Also, I don't see any black metal bands, death metal bands, power metal bands, among other genres. This list contains some great musical acts, yes, but they are not metal.

Erm.
No Dimmu Borgir, either. Sad day. The list has got some killer bands, but most of them aren't "metal" in any way, shape, or form. This should be like "The Top 25 Bands That Were Awesome In Their Time" article. Except for a few, of course. All of them are good but, hardly any are metal in any sense of the word.
Which is why I choose not to look towards Yahoo or MSN for insight on the latest and greatest metal.

Death metal is only one genre of metal, man.
