Default Best Music Genre
So, what do all of you think is the best music genre?

My favorite is metal.

Metal.. Heavy or Speed..

Speed metal is nice to sit around and blast time by, although sometimes I'll sit there for hours after it stops.. Mazurka is good at that

I don't what what genre it is, but Flyleaf is really good too. Hot singer and great voice.

Basically, Genre means a category of something. Example: Rock, country, rap, pop, metal, alternative, etc. Would be examples of music genres.

I LIEK TEH METUHLZ.

My favorite subgenres are power and melodeath.

2008 has been a good year for some of my favorite bands... In Flames got their new album A Sense of Purpose out, and Children of Bodom's Blooddrunk came out as well. There are many, many more...

Oh, and just so I'm not considered a "poser" - I like In Flames' older stuff (Subterranean, The Jester Race, Whoracle, e.t.c) much better than everything after the millennium.

I have wierd tastes in music. Here are a few i like
Jazz
Hip Hop (Only about 2 artists i like. Im VERY pick with this genre)
Speeedcore, Happy Hardcore, Gabba, anything else that can be put into the "-core" group (look it up)

I know you asked for 1 but it's a split between those for me.

Metal, Hardcore, Death Metal, Heavy Metal speed metal. OH YEAH!
