So what bands do you think would kick ass if they made some changes?

As good as Iron Maiden is I think they would be a lot better if they had a better vocalist.

The Strokes, if they had a singer who wasn't so mono tonal then they would be exciting.

And most Black Metal bands would be a lot better if they stopped using shitty sound quality because its kvlt.

DragonForce would be awesome if Herman decided to mix it up a bit, ever since their second album their stuff started sounding the same (IMO).

And lots of Technical Death Metal bands would be awesome if they used less distortion, most use so much its hard to tell what notes are being played.

I like Iron Maiden's vocals. At least you can tell them apart from everyone else. I hate those bands with voices that sound exactly the same.

Manowar are good musicians, but they would be cooler if they got a bit more creative with their songs. Too much obsession / worship is tacky and gets tiring.

All metalcore bands if they just dropped the soft stuff that makes them sound emo. Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage kicks ass when he screams. He's got the guitarists to back him up... why the hell does he go soft? It sucks. Though I still like the band.

Dimmu Borgir if they weren't so openly Satanic. I can listen to music that doesn't reflect my ideology... but these guys are ridiculous. I went to one of their live performances and there were pentagrams everywhere. I came for music, not propaganda.

Hell No Iron Maiden Has One Of The Best Vocallistst

Geez, yeah! And that guy was an OK guitarist, but I actually think he was a bit overrated.

I think Nirvana would be awesome if Kurt did more technical stuff, even though he made a lot of cool sounds that I did like with just simple bends and solos that followed his general song-structure.
