Opeth would be awesome if they were either Metal or acoustic. IMO its just annoying how they go from one to the other in the same song. They do both well but seriously, when I wanna hear Metal, I wanna hear Metal.

Audioslave was pretty good, but then they started sounding like a gospel band. I wish they could have stepped it up a little bit toward the end, and Tom Morello almost stopped traditional soloing, which he can do quite well. I still love the band, especially the first two albums, but these are just things I would change.

I agree, Tom Morello is awesome when he doesn't just make weird noises.

Tons of Doom would be so much better if they used tonal vocals, and got more technical. Of course there is Doom that is nothing like this.

Some Prog bands would be more enjoyable for me if they made their songs more to the point. Instead of drawing stuff out.

I like The Mars Volta but I would like them more if they got more technical and would focus less on sounding weird.
