I don't understand how that guy on that show relates to avatars. Avatars in Indian mythology (I think Hindu) are Gods that are reincarnated in human form. I guess they call him "the avatar" because it sounds cool.

Yes I was originally incarnated in human form by my past life (Avatar Roku). They Do not call me the avatar because it does not sound cool. They Call me it because I'm able to enter the Spiritual and Normal Worlds, The only way I enter spiritual World Is through My Avatar State(A Powerful Tool As a Defense mechanism And Helpful tool to enter through to the Spirtual World. Also In The State I'm able to contact my past lives and use their bending skills to help bring balance to the world.)

Yes, But I Do Believe there will be a 4th Season with a New Arc After Battling and defeating Firelord Ozai.
