ARG.com is in the process of launching a new website and we are looking for talented writers to publish articles on various subjects.

We currently need writers for the following topics:

General Advice (3 writers needed)
Dating & Relationships (3 writers needed)
Sex Advice (3 writers needed)
Celebrities (3 writers needed)
Fashion (3 writers needed)


Requirements for writers:

• Enough time to write at least one article per week.
• Knowledgeable in the subject you are writing about. (Duh!)

Benefits for writers:

• Most articles will be featured on the home page of the new ARG.com website.
• ARG writers will be given their own ARG.com email address. (theirname@arg.com)
• ARG writers will be given a special title on the ARG forums, along with a few other benefits.

Will the advice sections be based sort of like an advice colum/the advice forums where a specific question or situation is set to the writer and it is writen as to answer the question but assist on a general level...or is it more of a, every week a new subject for each advice area is determined by the writer/coordinater and then written?

Baldr has written a few articles, but is not particularly interested in writing an article a week. However, Baldr will volunteer for a "Beseech Baldr" role (pretty much, the equal to Ask Abbey.)

Thanks for the applications you guys have sent so far! I'll review them at get back to you as soon as I can.

Njord: I'd eventually like to have each writer only writing on one subject, but if you're interested we could do something like that temporarily until we get more writers posting regularly.

Lucian: The idea is for the writer to pick something to write about each week, but you can definitely get inspiration from questions on the forums, and I'm thinking about adding a function to the site where users can ask the writer a question and then the writer can go through and read the questions, which should help give them some writing ideas as well.
