You did nothing to stop it from happening, and we all knew that inevitably a Norse God would win this one...It is what ARG! is formed upon by careful workings of the whole Norse Pantheon. Others had a chance, as Ripplemagne did only miss out by one vote... So it's not like non-Norse Gods didn't have a chance, many could have made it... Simply ARG! is filled with inactive members of trolls... If one cleaned out the members list we would likely only have 30 whole heartedly active members. So, if you want someone other than Norse Gods to win, campaign next year.

| That would have been fair enough. A collective poll and a mortal only poll. It's not too late to make mortal only polls.

The Norse Gods don't always WIN a debate... The simply refuse to lose...This is the case of Odin...and thus was the reason for his 1 day ban. We debated and I clearly won by how he was forced to break rules in order to get his way, to feel like he was winning. They don't WIN every debate. As well the mortals they debate against 9 times out of 10 couldn't spell if their life depended on it... That AND generally the ones that COULD debate against the Norse Gods or others well enough on their own usually side WITH the Norse Gods and ride their coattails into the debate. But if you all want a mortals only poll then I will make one, give me a short bit to grab the people from the last debate skills polls and set it up.

| Adonis, you didn't win. You revoked the ban, so clearly, you lost. Yes, the Norse Gods refuse to lose because we know it's impossible for anyone to refute our logic. Baldr challenges you to find one instance where Baldr lost a debate.

That is exactly what the system banned him for after achieving 3 infractions. Quote:
And I wasn't part of every debate, I wouldn't know every debate in which a Norse God met a challenge on some subject or another. But the instance in which Odin was banned is perfect example as to the fact that a mortal is perfectly capable of ranking up there. Odin was dragging around something or another that was obnoxious and pointless and posted a completely off topic post towards me inside a girls intro thread for no apperent reason. I sent him a warning and I deleted the post as it was directed at me in regards to a completely different thread. That continued, he posted another post saying the exact thing and other joined it so i deleted all their posts and continued to send out warnings. Odin recieved at least 2 warnings before he recieved his first infraction. That infraction was turned over by Thor and he also posted against me in that topic on Odins behalf. I deleted some more posts, reinstated the infraction and gave him another warning Thor to stick out of it. This continued to the point where Odin posted again in the topic and he even said in the post it was because I was deleting his posts. He and I were having a fierce PM discussion on what was happening. he had no need to go post in that topic again. But he did. So I deleted it and sites him his third infraction, which the system registered as a 1 day ban. I warned Thor to not turn over the ban and explain why which then sparked a huge upsurge in activity on ARG! against me, claiming that my actions were abuse of my mod power. Odin acted rashly and incompetently towards the issue. And thus he was banned for one day, and one day only. He and the rest of his fan club sought to give bad credit to my name for doing my job. He lost that battle because he acted out of spite. I know he is more intelligent than that, I have seen him act far more intelligently than how he did to me. So OBVIOUSLY, even Norse Gods have a bad day of judgement, so on some level or another at one time or another, a mortal can easily face up tio the debate capability to a Norse God...As I know others such as Ripplemagne and Stricken could take up to their level if they felt the need. ********* Sorry for the bad spelling some places my keyboard is acting up
