The Suggestion Box

I am aware that this has been done awhile ago but, the last thread is long gone. This is your chance to make your suggestions to improve ARG. Simply post things that you would like to see added to ARG. It can be anything as long as it is reasonable. Although, I myself can't add anything to the site, this will at least let the moderators know that we have an interest in new features.

A few rules to keep this thread organized:

- Do not post anything ridiculous/obscene. This includes statements such as, "lol I wan't free pancakez wit every new accountz!!11!" and general trolling.

- I will periodically be checking on this thread to see the new suggestions.
Suggestions made by everyone will be posted on this first post.

-Suggestions will be added on a simple "yay or nay" basis, which means that if you like someone's idea, say that you support it. If you don't simply state that you don't and why.

- Make sure that you are clear about what you are suggesting.

- This thread is not made for you to whine about other members of this forum. It is only for genuine suggestions.

Feel free to add your own input. Remember this is your chance to tell the mods/staff what you would like to see on the site.

Current Suggestions

- Ability to add music in profiles.

- Search google option along with forum search.

- Agony Aunt and Uncle advice column (eg. Dear Abby), run by the Norse gods (Refer to Page 31) Done

- An area in the User's information when they post where you can see what Time Zone they are located in to see what their present time is.

- Add an Intelligent Discussion section.

- Promote some of the active users to moderator/admin status.

- A chatroom would be a great new feature to this site. It will not only allow for free conversation but will reduce the number of "I'm bored"/"msg Me" threads. Done

- An arts/literature section. I'm sure many of the users would like to creatively express themselves. Done

- Forum Games section. This will reduce the amount of clutter in the general discussion section while also giving those who want a chance to do forum games their own section. Another option would be to limit the number of threads Nealen/Daedra Eater makes. They are the main people creating these threads. Done

- Increase the thread search limit above 20.

- Editable User Title (e.g Being able to change your description from ARG Addict, Regular etc) Done

- More arcade games. This includes non retro games.

- Sports Section. Anything ranging from recreational sports to professional sports.Done

- Shoutbox on the front page.

- Roleplay Section. Can either be a part of the forum or a chatroom channel.

- More forum skin choices (Refer to Page 5)

- Harder Punishment for Spam threads. They serve no purpose besides jacking up your post count.

- Remove the 10 character limit on posts. Changed to 5

- Have Odin instated as an Administrator.

- Geek/Motard Section.

- Sticky the rant thread. Link Alternatively create a Rant section. Done

Since my only suggestion for site improvement has already been mentioned, I'll just support a Literature/Arts forum. Karma and John haven't got back to me on it yet, though Karma did call John about it a few times.
