| If you really want to know, chickens are believed to be hybrid descendants of the red junglefowls and the grey junglefowls. So, if this is true and chickens are indeed a hybrid of the two shits, the egg came before the chicken. The animal that laid the first "chicken egg" was not a chicken as we know them, but it's ancestor since the DNA can only be changed/modified before birth.
