just use a proxy shouldn't be to hard to find one that you school hasn't blocked yet or if you know how you can set up your own proxy, but that takes a bit longer.

I bring my own laptop to my school and connect to a network belonging to someone in the neighborhood. I'm sure icanhasproxy.com works, it was designed to evade any blocks whatsoever.

Yeah just use a proxy.
rrvt.info is really good if it isn't blocked...we use it for myspace and it works for youtube videos.

and I'm not sure what you could do to get past the proxy detector.

Oh dear! Not MySpace! Anything, but MySpace! God forbid we can't get on MySpace for a few hours!
