You act like they're mutually exclusive.

Even Catholicism provides acceptance for evolution so long as God is the original creator.

Having that said, I do not believe in intelligent design, and I do not think evolution is some ultimate life-theory; it's just a simple matter of survival of the fittest throughout history. I am far more inclined to believe that all things organic started from a pool of elements or something, than that something sculpted us (un!?)intentionally.

but believing both is something altogether different.
they contradict each other on so many different and important levels that coexistance is impossible. Unless you believe that god created a single celled organism and then did nothing and knew it would evolve.

Reasons for it not being creation:
