Simple question: What are you afraid of?

my biggest fear.
Well death it is not.
I'm just not afraid of that.
But my biggest fear is my sister dying.
When I was about six I had a sister that died and my other sister is all i have left, so I dont wana lose her

My only real fear would probably be myself. We're our own biggest threat when we lose control.

You stole my words Hugin. Although we might have been going different directions.

My biggest fear is I'm right that religion is just a big fuck hoax...Cause I'd rather be a subject to God then to myself. I'd prefer not to burn in hell.

Being alone. As long as I have a friend by my side(my puppy) I'm not afraid of anything.

Religion is a big fucking hoax. That's what I'm afraid of. Because you see, if it is, then after you die, you're just...gone. If you take the graph out far enough, the survival rate for everyone drops to 0. It ceases to matter what happened, as everyone you talked to, everything you do, vanishes within a couple decades of your death. I'd rather burn in hell than deal with that. But I'm also too stubborn to change my views out of fear.
I don't see how someone can take comfort in a god, though. If he's out there, he's a major fuckup. I'd rather to be accountable to myself than have some omnipotent being sitting up there weighing my actions against some scale he couldn't be bothered to tell the world clearly, especially the Judeo-Christian one who seems to view blind faith in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, blind faith based almost entirely on what your parents believed, as better than good works.

We were heading in the same direction then.

Being raised in a conservative Christian home is what caused me to sway so far right.

Being held accountable for my actions makes me a more mature person. Instead of asking God if 'I'm okay'. I can't get conformation from air.
