Ok, I saw a few posts saying marijuana can kill. That's right, it can. Long term effect. The tar clogs up the lungs and can be carcinogenic (it just takes one cancerous cell to develop cancer). The CO (carbon monoxide) stays in blood and wont leave it making it a useless cell (a RBC survives 120 days, so you have a useless blood cell for 4 months, just flowing around). It's a gateway drug leading to other drugs, there are speculation of it leading to schizophrenia. There are all sorts of shit like that. Cigarettes do too. Joints are in these terms less dangerous. Then we have cigarettes which are more dangerous, then blunts and then cigars.

But when someone says "Marijuana doesn't kill," they're talking about deaths from marijuana. Not the CO, not the tar but the THC. If you forexample, eat it (space cakes mmmmm... but more dangerous) you got rid of the CO, but I am sure you destroy your stomach walls and liver with that. You can absorb it through your eyes. Or get pure THC and vaporise it and do it. You can not kill yourself from THC. It is not toxic and you can't overdose.

Yes, if you’re stupid enough you can over dose on it; its overdose ratio is 40000/1 which means you need 40 thousand times the regular dose to overdose dose. You can overdose on even oxygen if you’re stupid enough (one of the reasons you don’t get pure oxygen in oxygen tanks, it destroys the mitochondria). I’ve seen a guy smoke a Pakistani hash ball the size of my fist. He’s fine. Compared to alchool’s overdose ratio, which is 10/1 (you need 10 times the regular dose to overdose) its far safer in terms of toxicity.

But THC can build up in your body, but building up to 40thousand times the regular dose is absurd. Your body will have already dealt with that shit before you can add more. This guy apparently is the first guy to be recorded to have died in such manner. He apparently smoked 6 joints a day for 11 years. He might have died due to PCP sprayed weed (called super-weed) in my opinion.

Well, the reason we die is beacuse the chromosomes of our cells can't divide anymore (the telomere gets shorter each time the chromosome divides until its too short to divide anymore). So finally we have a body that can't produce anymore cells. This is ageing. That doesn't mean that we die because our cells divide...
