Ok, I had this argument with a guy sitting in our group: I say you should do "revision" or your work when you go home and that revision work; he say it do not work.(how can't it work?)
What I mean by "revision" is when you go "revise" your work after you did it.

Ok, I told him that doing revision will let you remember better.
He used the extremes by saying that you should not revise too much.
I told him that I only said you should revise, but I did not say too much.

Fallacious reasoning, I told him.
If you reason that the more you practice answers, your work, see things, drawing pictures, is not working, don't you know the brain?
If you keep re-doing things, your brain will re-see events and remember it better.

You learn that everywhere, you see it work everyday, even in Psychology books, they teach it.
Your teachers teach you to do that also.

Ok, sorry for going on like this, people.
But this is really bothering me.
THis guy cannot see how his reasoning do not claim evidence, but stand a fallacious point.

Can everybody give me the fallacy he commited, to tell him why his point is not valid?
That will help much.
What is a good way to answer back?

Seriously though, yes, revision and repetition help alot of people remember things, but I dont work like that. I try to understand what Im learning from the get go, and it usually sticks for a long time. I cant just keep reading the same shit over and over. I cant do that stupid shit where people come up with stupid pneumonic devices, like "ooh that rhymes with ____ so I'll remember it like that". I just... get it... to begin with.
