Ok so im in highschool, and im having a lot of trouble choosing my classes.

Any suggestions?

I know classes are dif. at every school but please just post suggestions i have to make my decision by August 7th

well I go to a really wired high school so I doubt any of the classes I have to choose from are ones u will be able to chose from.
backpacking class- yess littertly we r taking backpacking trips
photography
guitar
creative writing
reading class
and study hall
If u have a photography class at your school then totally take it, its easy and fun!

and then we had 4 math choices which were all 1.00 [full ] credits -

Honors Algebra


I have to have a minimum of 6 credits and my required classes give me 3.75 so i need suggestions

My schedule now is

English 9 - 1.00
Lunch
Health - 0.50
Physical Science - 1.00
Physical Eduacation - 0.25
World History - 1.00
Pre Algebra - 1.00
Personal Development - 0.50
Study Skills - 0.50
Family Studies - 0.50
Study Hall

=6.25 credits


But im getting it changed. the 1st 6 up there are required so keep in ming i cant change those

Pre-Algerbra is a waste of time. If you can do 2x+3= 17 you don't need to be in that class. Try Algerbra 1.

Spanish 1 is also pretty easy because it's mostly learning vocabulary.

But, really just pick classes that you like. If you don't like Art don't take it. Also, if you know what you are going to do, like what career pick things that are going to look good on a college applacation. Like Pre-Algerbra, it doesn't look so hot on an applacation.

Well depending on your year, that will be how many electives you actually have.

It all depends on what you enjoy.

Electronics --> Anything to do with Computers, Programming, Power Mechanics.

Art --> Art History, Regular Art Classes, Illusion conclusive, Art Advanced.

Sports --> For sports, all there really is is Sports Education, Gym classes, and communication.

There is also, Photography, Graphics Design, Java, CAD Classes, Web Design, Computer Programming, and Computer Science.

but i'd take algerbra 1 and french if i were you, french is much better than spanish, unless you want to clean toilets and work at mcdonalds

Either Algebra 1 or Honors Algebra. Pre-Algebra is pretty much Algebra with training wheels.

As for electives?

Don't do art. It's a waste of time and you can learn whatever they teach you on your own. Same with music and drama.

You can do French or Spanish. It's not a bad skill to have, but most teenagers tend not to like foreign language classes and it's not really that necessary.

As boring as the class is, you'll learn a lot in any Business class. You'll probably hate the class and get a lot of work, but the knowledge you reap for it is quite large.

Study Skills is useless.

Personal Development can be useful, but it's all skills you should already possess, yourself. Same with Family Studies.

Industrial & Engineering Foundation is a personal choice. Only do it if you actually want to.

Nutrition and Wellness would be one of Baldr's choices. It sounds boring, but it's pretty intriguing.

im thinking of changing my schedule to this -

Honors English [instead of the regular english i originally chose]
Physical Science
Physical Education
World History
Health
Lunch
Algebra 1
General Business [instead of Study Skills]

And i dont want to take Family Studies, so i was thinking of taking a Foreing Language or Business Foundation.

The plus sides of taking Spanish is, i already know some of it and i would use it more.
The plus side of taking French is i would get to travel to France with me class lol.

So idk what to do.
