I really dont know much about cats.

Always thought dogs were cooler.

But I was at this friend's place.

And his cat dropped down from above. Sat there, looked at me, meowed twice, walked off.

Now I have to have a cat. Thats really not a good reason but I feel compelled.

I like the ones with the dark grey fur and black stripes.

Just stay away from the Cornish Rex. Ugly mofos.

They're better than the Pet Store. At least they're trying to find homes for abandoned animals, and they do it in a profit-neutral fashion. Pet Stores only take bred animals, and are in it for profit.

Cats are adorable! I'd take the advice above and go for a cat in the humane society or something cause they are already trained, and everything. Now, age is also a factor. If you go for an older cat, it will already have a personality of its own. If you go for a kitten, you have to raise it and it will try to make a personality of its own and kittens may be cute, but they still are a handful.
