| I adopted a black cat a few years ago. Frightened little thing hid from us all the time. Now she follows me everywhere, she's almost as obediant as a dog, or even more. Just get a cat that takes a liking to you. The ones who're always trying to be around you are probably some of the best to have, regardless of their species.

| Ohhh! I have 6 cats... Ok! Well if you want to risk it with a crossbred you will want to keep a close eye on temperament when you are picking them out. Purebred cats are far more expensive but their temperment is far more reliable. The ragdoll- Gentle and Docile ![]() Ragdoll Cat Breed Profile - History, Description, Temperament & Photos of the Ragdoll Cat Outtake: Ragdolls absolutely thrive on human companionship and will devote themselves entirely to their owner. They can often be found waiting by doors for their owner to arrive home and will nearly always be in the same room, if not on their owners lap or right by their feet. They are quite inquisitive and mischievous although still very gentle, placid and docile. Due to their very gentle nature they really depend on their owner to offer security and protection. Rarely will a Ragdoll use their claws - it is simply not in their nature to be aggressive. British Shorthair- Reserved but affectionate ![]() A British Shorthair is a delight to own, being intelligent, affectionate, and untempermental. Someone once said that British Shorthairs are typically British in temperament: they have a strong character but are rather reserved by nature. They demand less attention than other breeds, although they love it, and are not at all pushy and are just the cat to cope with busy lifestyles. Maine Coon- ENORMOUS!!! ![]() Large, rugged, and hardy, these incredible hulks have hearts to match their size – their gentle, loving temperaments keep this breed high in the popularity polls. Siamese- Loud but lovable ![]() Arguably the most widely recognized breed in the known universe, the Siamese has enjoyed a long popularity that's showing no sign of waning. This cat's distinctive pointed pattern, trim body, big ears, and gregarious, talkative nature continues to charm cat lovers world wide. Their "painted on" coats are very short and close-lying with no noticeable undercoat. Their favorite grooming tool is your hand, applied gently down their backs. The Siamese had been the most popular shorthair for decades. (They are quite demanding however) Uhhhmmm If I think of more I will tell you! |
