If he does hes gonna take a big hit to the back of the head. I doubt he'd be able to effectively kick someone, so its much more important to simple block, keep a side-stepping stance and try to make sure your weaker arm takes the brunt of any attacks, with your punching arm on the opposite side, remember to swing when he isn't.

yeah hitting him in the throat would work,as it will stun him so you can then get in a few quick hits.
Also if you can hit him high up on the side of his head he will stumble if not fall.
if your serious about winning dont be afraid to kick him while he's down...a few shots to the stomach should do it but dont go for his head unless you want to kill him...
