| High carb diet's will give you plenty of energy. Lots of pasta and potatoes, stuff like that. As i've started working as a chef now, i realised i'm getting once again unfit due to picking on food at work. Even though most of it's cucumber.. Drinking lots of water helps as well, you can burn calories drinking ice cold water, because you use energy heating it up in your system. Doing something simple as This daily can help you a lot.

| For sleep and relaxation, I just smoke some weed play some soft Psybient/trippy music, works very well. Something like this: Entheogenic Pagan Dream Machine Last.fm And about working out, just the age old 30 push ups every morning works very well, for me.

| you want a total body workout, most importantly back, chest, legs, abbs. just doing pushups isn't good enough, and smoking weed leaves me a little on the apathetic side. it's hard continue pushing urself to your goals and especially harder with weed in your system(for me). if your looking for better sleep, then i don't have any expert advice but google does. i just started by getting 9 hours of sleep a day and it works for me.

| Sports usually seem to do the trick for me a lot. Also, going to the gym is a good way. The hardest part is just getting to being physically fit, it's easy to maintain once you're there though. Also, it depends on where you are physically right now. If you want to lose weight, running is a pretty good way to do that. If you want to gain muscle, just doing some work out plans can accomplish that. Or if you want to be strong and have a really nice body, working out and lifting weights accomplishes that. |

| Get around 8 hours of sleep. Seriously, you have no idea how important that is. Learn about the anatomy somewhat. I cannot tell you how important my anatomical knowledge is to my fitness ascent. Wrestling can help with that, but you'll have to do it often. You can, certainly, read about the anatomy, but you'll want to get first hand knowledge too. Cardio. Cardio. Cardio. It can make or break you. If you can get to a treadmill, do so. Grab a gatorade bottle or two and start jogging. By the time you're done, you should be pouring sweat and should feel like you're in the Matrix. Stretching is also vital and mandatory to any work out routine. Drive less and jog to more places. Remember "mind over matter". Some people believe they're at their end when they're not. The human body can endure so much more than we give it credit for. At the slightest bit of pain, people give up. Pain is good, but you'll have to distinguish the good pains from the bad. Pains in your bones and joints are, generally, bad. Pains in your muscles are, generally, good. If you're sore the next morning? You did a good work out. You'll need to figure out where you want to hone in on and what, exactly, you want to do. If you want to be muscular, you'll need to do a lot of weight lifting. If you want to be cut and well toned -- which is what you should want as this, generally, means your muscles are strong -- then you will need to do a lot of stretching and light weight exercises like push-ups, crunches, squats, etc. Invest in a few gadgets, if you can spare the money. The Perfect Push-up is great. My brother has one and I use it when it's available. I would suggest doing a lot of stretching and always keep your body active. Abdominal work outs are essential as you need abdominal movement for just about every motion including walking, running and jumping. Push ups are great for your upper body and squats (and calf presses, if you're willing) are great for the lower body. Also, mind that the organ in your body that requires the most nutrients. Keep your mind preoccupied with interesting new material and those carbs will stick to the brain instead of the body. That's very good. Diet is important as well. Not so much for me as I already have a fast metabolism. But for others, it's probably one of the most important factors. Tell me a bit about what your goal and body structure is. That is necessary to determine what you should do. As for beverages, my personal preference is Gatorade. But to each his own.

| Ok, to address a few things I missed at first. The reason I am asking is because I know that the internet has hundreds of sites for this stuff and they will all say somehting different. I want to know what has worked for you all so i can see where I should look for further info. beyond that... I currently have access to a tredmill, and an obnoxious weight machine. I WOULD use these things more but my parents pile shit on them. So i will get to working on moving shit and working with those yes. I preferre poweraid personally =P My current position is I get about 7-9 hours of sleep, but get no rest, my sleep pattern is poorly rendered and needs reworking, I am on the process of doing that. Physically, I am not. period. My legs are not built but they aint flabby, because I go to a skating rink fairly regularly. My arms and...everything else...are not built...at all... I have very VERY small abbs and not bicep muscles at all. My goal? I would preferre the ability to beat a 13 year old girl at arm wrestling =P lol, jk I want to be well defined and have an average athletic build. Difficult for me to just have due to my homeschooled life and no father figure who actually wanted to take me out and play catch once in awhile. So I became naturally lazy from day one. My mother tells me I didnt even crawl around. I would just sit there. I was a lazy ass baby. anywho, yeah. Thanks for the stuff provided thus far. I will definetly look into this a bit further =) |
