| Don't kill him. Whether it would be easier on your family, whether he deserves to die, etc. is all completely irrelevant. Why? Because if you do, you will have a life sentence in jail. It is not worth it, and you will get it no matter the circumstance, trust me. It sounds like even your mom isn't happy with him, but she feels she has no choice and there is no way out. I gaurantee you the best thing to do is call the Police or Child Service as previously mentioned. That will most likely get him out of your world, and your whole family will be happy. I gaurantee it. If he tries to harm you again, the best thing to do is to scream as loud as you can in hopes that a neighbor might hear and dial the police. I know these things are very hard to do, but you have to do this. Otherwise, you are just going to be miserable and something bad could happen. I would not at all suggest running away because you have to keep your brother in mind too. The best thing for you and your brother would be to be happy with your family again deprived of your step dad. Calling the Police and/or Child Services can make this happen. Any other way probably won't. But you have to make a decision. You just can't stand there and let it be. It's for the best for you, your brother, and your family. You have to do it soon. Quote:

| Your stepfather is an asshole. It is not your fault at all. How ever old you are don't have the responsibility of what ahppened to your mother. Your step father has serious mental issues. And if he does this what else would he do?for your own safety and your brother's movem out to your father's. |

| iv had major problems with all my stepdads so far. the first one tried to hit me with a hammer and i broke his ribs. the second i just constantly argue with. if your mum doesnt stand up for u n take ur side in a an argument he is clearly wrong in, leave just to show her u wont always be around and wen thngs go bad between she and him (and trust me they will) she will come runnin to u sayin sorry n that. dont be bitter, forgive her. love can do crazy things to a person n she will need u to be there for her n btw dont try poisonning him or anything it just gets u in trouble. my current step dad is 62 (old) n i tried putin salt in his coffee so his blod pressure would rise n he wud hav a heart attack - it didnt work n i got the whole "ur a disgrace katheryn, how could u!?!" lecture... | my dad kicked me out 2 weeks (12 days really) before my 16th birthday, you have it very lucky. he was beating me into submission since i was 2. you are lucky. citric acid is the main ingredient in lemon. works the same
