Hey, the name is Steve. I have a little situation, there is someone I feel I have much interest in, problem is, we're not really close nor do we talk much. She says hello to me in the hallway, but we never really have spoke before except this one time I went to a dance. We spent the evening talking with one another, but that was about 3 months ago. "Just ask her out" could possibly be the worst advice at this point, I am a shy kid when it comes to women, any advice on how I should go about handling this? Or how I could overcome this shyness?

Her: Hey!
You: That's it! You're not leaving this hallway until I get my hug!
-Go and hug her-

Then walk away.

Then next time you see her, ask for her number so you can hang out later. You'll have broken the ice.

Unless she maces you when you hug her, then you should probably just walk away forever.

See? I can be nice to mortals sometimes.

but then the next time u should ask her simple questions like
wat class u got next or wat class did she just come out of
and from there u improvise if she says it was boring say mine too and then say i had the best 30 min nap in mine stuff like that and then say bye and leave then the next day try to make the conversation longer thats wat i do and im extremeley shy with girls try it or private message me if u want

I like Odin's advice. It show that you have confidence and a sense of humor. Kick ass advice Odin. If you don't have the balls to do that, as that takes some serious balls, Thor's advice is safer. It probably won't get you the same respect from her, but it's another way to accomplish your goal, and it doesn't take nearly the same amount of stones as Odin's advice.
