It 16 if you have a job you can move anywhere that you can prove is safe, i moved out at 16, but at 17 and this close to 18 you would slip in the cracks if you moved out before you turned them in.

at 16 you get to choose which parent/relative you go to.

And you are old enough that if you turned them in you could easily file for emancipation and get it, thus becominga legal adult with certain limitations.

As well, you should go out and look for a job and such if you dont already have one.

but yeah the second you turn 18 you arent in foster care anymore, you are an adult and you go to the real world after that.

the BEST thing you can do for yourself if report them,
you will most likely have to talk to the police or whoever about it and there you can talk to someone about it all, but you should probley be able to get emancipated and get away from foster care or whatever.

You can go live with a close relative or something until you have a good job and enough money to stand on your own, get a small apartment and whatever, all that nifty stuff.

but yeah, report them, its the right thing to do.

Ok all u lil fuckers shut the hell up. Blood is thicker than water. U hate it and that sucks, but would you turn in a friend? They will go to jail, and get a good amount of time. If you are going to basic than just shut up a little longer. It is not a big deal. IT is their decision, not yours as to what they do or do not do. Talk to them, but to turn your own parents in just b/c you have a problem with them smoking pot?? That seems very cold and selfish if you ask me.

Also shut the hell up about legalizing weed. Yes it should happen purely based on economic reasons, but it never will. Get use to that and just live with the consequences. If it was legalized at least half of you would stop smoking it.
