Well, you just need to be a regular friend to her. If nothing happens, then just move on. there are other girls out there.

Also, don't listen to any comments on looks. Most girls wouldn't care that much about looks.

One last tip: Next time you like a girl prove she is special. write a poem for her or something creative. Just asking a girl out is just way over-used. do something special.
