I was going to apply for a mod spot today,and I looked,they NEEDED YOUR STREET ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER

I dont understand,I mod stuff at more popular forums than this! And they dont need Addresses or numbers.

Last time I checked you don't need a phone number. I might be wrong though, and it was changed.
But that just means this forum is more serious about who is a part of the staff here. If you don't wanna fill that out then don't apply. =]

Yeah... I looked at that earlier. I definitely wouldn't put any contact details like that on an internet site. Not that I think anything bad would happen, but it's just a little bit unnecessary for them to be asking such questions, in my opinion.

It's how websites like these get their money. They sell your email addresses in bulk to Chinese corporations, and those corporations try to sell you placebo Viagra VIA email.

Same thing can be done with your address and junk mail.
