Ok, so. . .here's the thing

I like this girl, me & her are really good friends, have been for almost a year, took a course together, that's how we became friends, now I only see her at lunch, we eat lunch almost everyday with 2 of my other friends (both her best friends as well, and both girls)

We have each other on facebook & talk a lot there, goof off, etc.

The thing here is that I need help with is that she is a freshman, and I am a sophomore. I've only ever had 1 other girlfriend in 8th grade so I don't have much experience. I need to know how to "break the ice" or get out of the friend zone. I don't even know if she likes me, I am sort of afraid she just likes me as a friend, and that may be it.

I think it would be best to get advice from a girls side & a guys side on how I should approach her, no nonsense please.

Oh. . .and the girl I like is real . . .not the "omg I must have the biggest baddest boy" type girl . ..I just need some real advice how to approach this.

My suggestion is to use something like a talent you have.
Poetry for example.

Give her a note first telling you how you feel.
Find out from there how she feels.

Then use your talent, etc.
Such as make her a poem.

Or some shit like that.
Lol.
