Usually my line for holding hands would be something like
"Hey how big are you hands?"
*she puts up hand and looks*
"compare it to mine"
*put hands together and lock fingers*
"ah your hands are tiny.."

Then when you get up you can just let go, get ready to walk off infront of her.
Then hold your hand out spread open for her.
"come on then?"

They seem to think it's nice.
