That's a damn lie. I get compliments and women sniffing me like dogs all the time, which always leads to my bedroom, car, bathroom, closet, backroom of store, etc.

Deo is personal taste, though I like Axe Essence. The scent only comes off when you sweat, and since it has a strong earthy, cinnamon smell, it works for me.

As for cologne, find a few you like. Go to a store and pick out like 10, with some help of course. Put them all on a sampler tab and smell each, with 5-10 minute intervals. Then eliminate the ones you don't like. Get like 4-5 out of that group and go shopping for an hour or so. Smell the tabs again and see what type of scent still lies there. Cologne dissipates over time, so you're getting a feel of how it'll smell later on. Then, another hour or 2 and smell it again. This is the long lasting scent other people will catch on you, like if you're wearing to school. Well lunch is 405 hours after cologne application so this is where you see if you like the lasting scent. Get samples of 2-3 you like, and let other women smell them ON you. The purpose of cologne is to see what smells good on you, not on paper. Don't put the cologne on your clothes either..The cologne mixes with the pheromones on your body to create a unique scent, which is why you need someone else to tell you if it smells good on you, and why you need to put it on your skin. Best places are neck, wrists, or any other places where your pulse can be felt, because they are the hottest parts of your body. That makes the scent push out more.

Assuming this is true (Which I doubt), you'd still have to do more then just smell nice. You'd have to lay on the charm/personality in order to attract her. The OP sounds like he thinks if he wears Axe women are going to grope him like in the commercials.
