It started when I was 12 (I'm 17 now). Our parents began working with another so I saw her all the time. At first it was just a causal hi. Then as a year went by, we would have long conversations. We found out we both had a lot in common. We were both into History, Computers and Harry Potter .

Yet the truly amazing thing to me, was that this one of a kind beautiful girl was talking to me. You see, I'm ugly and not afraid to admit it. Anyway then we began hanging out at each others houses. I would go swimming at hers, and she would come play Harry Potter Scene It (she would always win) at mine. It wasn't much, but she was the best.

Then one night (the day Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince was released) we were both at her house staying up all night reading the book. I got done first, and then she looked at me and was about to kiss me when.... Her phone rang. I gave the excuse to leave. She hugged me goodnight and went on chatting with friends. It was about a week later when I checked my myspace and had a message from her.

She had a boyfriend. Aaron the Senior (were Freshmen at this time). I felt my heart break. Then I get the message from her boyfriend saying stay away from her. So being the nice guy I am I did. Until last night when her and her mom showed up at work. I was there helping my mom, when she came up to me and started talking to me.

You see in the year since we had been apart. I had truly tried to let go. However when we talked last night, and memories came back; I realized I hadn't let go. Then now all I can think about is her. I know we can never be, but I still miss her laughter, her sense of humor, the way she cares about everyone, and her beauty. But I guess I have to move on.

I jsut feel so lonley. She was the one girl, I loved. What do I do? I want to me someone just as great.

I didn't back off, her damn phone rang. Maybe it's a sign we should be together.

Well, good thing is you know you have to move on. Good boy. Now, come on man. You're 17 for Christ's sake. Learn from this past relationship. Make sure you don't make these same mistakes the next time you meet a girl you like. Face it, the girl that you "loved", you let slip right out of your hands! You have to realize and understand the bad moves you made, and make sure you don't make them again. From there, you may improve and have a better chance of meeting a girl just as great.

Except I'm a loner in school. I'm just the guy who fixes all the computers. I've never met anyone. I'm extremley ugly and no one cares.

Well, you're doomed, unless you make enough money to buy a corvette and a trophy wife.

So? You gonna sit and keep complaining about it? Hell, I'm a childish Pokemon nerd and I've gotten a date! Because I DID something about my situation instead of wallowing in a pool of pity. Being ugly is no damn excuse. Believe me, I tried to play that card and it has gotten me nowhere. Make some friends, go out more, be a social hog dammit! Whatever it takes! You're almost a damn grown ass man. ACT LIKE IT!

either just sit there and watch ur crush fall further from you day by day, or tell her how you feel and it cud change sumthin...just sayin
