It doesn't matter if it's verb or noun, the noun form also means respect. I'll ask my teacher's opinion tomorrow, who I hate so much but she is extremely religous. Her father was a pastor and both are missionairies. Just to have an extra opinion. Thought she hates me and seems like she always disagrees with me on religonouse(W/E) things, so I gotta act like I believe in what you like and see if she agrees with me. Probably too biased against me since i'm always quoting Anton LaVey.

But back to what I said earlier. These are just our interpretations. Unless we can be a prophet of the original prophet who wrote this stuff we will never know for sure what they meant.

And yes, it is an interpretation. But in the context of the quote, it leans more toward the definition I gave in my previous post. I concede that I was a bit overzealous in saying "honor =/= respect", but I never said that honor never equals respect. They aren't completely interchangeable.

In the phrasing of the biblical text, it doesn't seem to be saying "Thou must honor your mother and father." Even judging from the second part of the quote, it seems more along the lines of "Bring honor to your mother and father." I can't completely explain what I'm talking about because I can't quite put it into words, but to me, the former interpretation does not seem plausible.

Being bi is not that bad though... sometimes straight girls tend to be bi because their partner doesn't provide enough affection or somehow isn't satisfied on the way their partners treat them... and sometimes those affections are found in the girls... i mean we can't deny that girls/lez are more affectionate and more understanding than some guys.. so that's one of the reasons why girls stay with girls... so guys be more affectionate, understanding, be more romantic and show your girls their value because that's what most girls wanted... to feel that they are really valuable and really important...

I know a straight out lesbo, and all of her girlfriends are way less affectionate. They might have better sex but they pretty much skip the step of getting to know each other.

Nothing wrong with being bi imho. My girlfriend is bi, one of my cousins is bi, i know two lesbians and one gay guy at my school. Besides for the guy, I have no problem getting along with any of them. You like what you like. (i only don't like the guy because he is like FLAMING gay not because he is gay)
