if instance 1 is correct, is sounds to me like she is embarassed about talking to you, and doesnt around her friends because she doesnt want them to think anything weird.

if isntance 2 is correct, chances are shes just using you to make the other guy jelous. Yes, coming from a chick, we DO do this.
