Thor has a point. Flirting is about desire. If you're stupid enough to give them what they want up front by being nice or you chase them away by being obnoxious, you are, quite frankly, as stupid as I expected you to be.

Thor's method is to impress a girl by being manly, wearing denim, cutting down trees, etc. Other methods include being mysterious, funny, suave, or impassioned.
