So theres a guy I met two weeks ago through a friend. We both like each other, just not going out and stuff. He always asks me to hang out with him, and I haven't been able to yet, I've been pretty much grounded since I met him which is wierd.
So then today, I asked him if he wanted to go see Prom Night with me and a few mutual friends this weekend, actually kinda as a "triple date." I get back "lol sorry hunn but that movie just doesnt appeal to me the slightest"

I'm like what the hell? So I'm supposed to drop everything to go hang out with him, but he won't even go see a stupid movie with me?!

Goddamn.
So what should I do? Tell him that I'm mad, try to get him to go to the movie?
Because truthfully, I really really want to see him.

Actually, after reading back over this, I have to take my statement back. The guy was TOTALLY in the right. I have no idea what I was thinking at the time. She's been fucking blowing him off forever. Then, when she can hang out, she wants to go see some of HER bullshit? No fucking way. If she really wanted to see him, she would ask what he wanted to do and go do that. Or she would accept the fact that he has a life, just like she did when she was "grounded" forever.

1. why are you so sure he still likes you? guys do seem to find replacements pretty quickly.
2. unless you explained you are grounded he is very likely to be pissed off with you - i would be. quick example - if a guy blows me off once i give him the cold shoulder until he suggests a way to make it up to me. guys are just as afraid of rejection as girls are, darling
3. you asked him to hang out with your friends on a date (correct me if im wrong, but im assuming you chose said friends because they are closer to you than they are to him). you're taking him out of his comfort zone and sticking him in your world.
4. as for the movie - maybe he genuinely didnt like the film. or maybe he couldnt afford a film and whatever you were gonna do after the film. maybe he thought you expect him to 'make a move' during the film and wasnt certain if he actually wants to do that.

i think you should ask him out again but make sure it's something simple and straightforward that doesnt involve other people
