But you shouldn't let someone else bring you down,
that doesn't do anything for you, and you should be living for yourself.

well, how else do you think you'll get better at asking people out? Everyone has to get rejected, its part of life. Artist, I really feel you, because getting hurt sucks. I just got through a bad breakup, with someone I was with for 5 months. Thats a long time for anyone in high school. so it sucked 10 times more then a stupid relationship that lasts a week. you just have to realize, that you suck at life. we all suck at life. once we get some of the suck out, by becoming stronger and better people (via regection and learning through that).

I still recomend thinking about what you will say to your girl. If you give a heartfelt little thing, and she responds by laughing in your face, just think to yourself

"this is ONE girl, there are at least 40,000 more avalible in the state alone".

btw, we (I) need some background info in order to help. how old are you, how old is the girl and what is the situation (i.e. are you friends already or do you not know her)
