Honestly, Njord is 100 percent right. Two years ago I would have disagreed, but as my balls did me the favor of dropping, I agree with him now. The point is to be confident enough to trust yourself. If you don't believe the girl is going to like you, how can you expect her to like you?
And to whoever it was that said he was teaching his friend how to get laid, blah blah blah, I think the moral of the story (correct me if I am wrong) was basically that he COULDN'T tell his friend how to get the girl, the friend had to do it himself.

yeah, so I'm pretty sure that Njord's advice is good.

Although I agree completely with Njord's advice of talking to the girl, I'm guessing it was the way that he presented his information that turned people away. The way he protrayed the situation makes him seems overly-confident or arrogant. However sometimes there is no way to be polite when giving advice on a subject. It's unavoidable to be blunt at points. Very good advice anyhow.

I think there's some good pointers in here. I would have told him again to go just pucker up and ask her out, its now or never has always worked. :P

Confidence is a clincher, I think, not being cocky, just being confident. For me, sex isn't a big deal, If he wants I want it..If its a bad time though, I'm not all yours. :P
