I'd say it does. She'll like you more if you have the confidence to ask her straight up. I know that it's hard at first, but you have to learn to do it. Try to get her alone to ask her, that should make things easier, than, the hard part is to ask her, and you just have to do it. If you get rejected, just move on like nothing happened.

i'm not sure if i'm speaking on behalf of most girls, or just me, but notes SUCK. i've had a guy who i talked to maybe once (but he was in like 3 of my classes) write me a love letter full of stuff like "i know you probably don't feel the same way, but..." <- i was a real b*tch and gave it to a guy to throw away right after i read it ( i feel bad about that). he was just so f'in shy!

notes just give her an excuse to reject you. i say just go right up to her when she's not with her friends.
